Anti-Genocide Reading...

Monday, Dec 24th at 12pm in MUB theatre I. A reading by Craig Walzer, editor of "Out of Exile: Narratives from the Abducted and Displaced People of Sudan"...  the book has interviews with a man named Abuk, who survived ten years as a slave, and Marcia and Rose, two friends who spent ten years in a refugee camp. Also includes an interview with Dave Eggers. By the way: "fiction" can help change the world. Steinbeck based his Grapes of Wrath on interviews, as did Eggers recently... ask yourself how your fiction might be based on a journalistic reality...
